Dear Mary, What an amazing host, from the minute we arrived (muddy from our bike ride) your warm welcome was fabulous ...and then you showed us to the wood burning stove, tea and cake (heaven)! Or room, was wonderful, spotlessly clean and a delight to be in. Your food was 'off the scale', the perfect home cooked pie and home grown vegetables were delicious as was our splendid cooked breakfast. We cannot wait to return, when we get through the dreaded Covid 19. Thank you so much.

Thank you Mary for a wonderful relaxing weekend in the cottage. The B&B is on a working dairy farm, but there is nothing to disturb visitors as the milking takes place up the road. The location is so peaceful with only a gentle breeze and birdsong to disturb your morning cuppa on the patio (if you've booked the cottage). The view from the patio is worth a fortune, looking across the fields up to the Dartmoor fells. There's a fabulous breakfast, cooked to order, with home baked bread and the widest range of cereals I've ever encountered! We will return.

Very comfy beds in a lovely room with space. Breakfast was delicious. Mary is a great host. Being a working farm was a treat for us townies, seeing chickens, ducks and geese roaming free in the farmyard. Bring wellies and watch the milking around 4pm. Highly recommended. Thank you Mary.

Found this at very last minute and I wasnt dissapointed. Mary and Julian made me feel really welcome and I was offered a cuppa tea on arrival and cake. The shared lounge is very cozy and the bed very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast with freshly made bread. I will definitely return. Thank you both x

i stayed in the self catering unit for two nights. it has a massive bed upstairs and a comfy sofa bed downstairs. the two areas are connected so if you're sharing then it's something to be aware of. the facilities are high spec and extremely comfortable. there is a big kitchen with excellent utensils and appliances and an outside seating area with views across fields up to the moors. although you're in the middle of a farm it was very quiet. breakfast was in the main farmhouse and very tasty. the place is easy to get through and very handy for the main roads down to cornwall and up to exeter and beyond. i would definitely stay here again. absolutely nothing to find fault with.

Thank you Mary and Victoria for making us so welcome. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. Next time it will be longer. The farm is in a lovely area which we should like to explore more.
